Peter Hill Primary School

Peter’s Hill Primary School, Dudley, has recently added a new Children’s Centre to its campus, protected by security shutters from Charter. The shutters are used to secure a play area for the youngest children, so large toys and outdoor furniture can be safely stored when the school is closed.

“The building design is modern and fresh,” explains Sales Manager for Charter Specialist Security, “and Dudley Council, the developer, wanted to ensure the shutters did not spoil the aesthetic appeal of the building. The council was keen to find a product which had an architectural quality to match the glazing and roof structure. Charter Security was able to provide the ideal solution with five Charter-Integr8 canopy shutters. The slimline nature of the product lent itself perfectly to the project; invisible when open as the shutters retract completely into the lintel, but secure when the building is unattended. The project was completed on time and the school is delighted with the result.”
