Charter-Integr8 security shutters have been installed at the new Silwood Community Centre, London. Part of a regeneration development including 5,000 new homes, the centre includes an office and computer suites as well as a play area and meeting rooms. Concealed behind lead cladding, the slimline shutters were specified to protect the property against burglary and vandalism, without detracting from the building’s design. Security was an important concern throughout the build and the residential accommodation was built to Secured By Design standards.
Leading shutter manufacturer Charter Specialist Security supported architectural practice bptw partnership throughout the design process with expert advice, samples and AutoCAD details.
